Material: honey locust, clock movement, resin
This Heart Clock was a commissioned piece for an anniversary gift. The design is based on a previous heart-shaped clock and is made from honey locust wood that’s been bookmatched to form the shape of a heart. Wood has been sanded, and coated with resin to create a high lustre sheen, while bark has been kept in tact for a tactile and rustic edge. Laser cut numbers have been added and the clock is outfitted with exposed black hands and a Quartz movement.
