Materials: Salvaged ash and cherry​
This keepsake box commissioned by a client as a wedding gift. Requirements were that it be rustic and one of a kind, with the couple’s initials and date engraved on top of the box and a quote inside the box on the bottom. A beautiful salvaged piece of ash comprises most of the box, and a scrap piece of cherry, with a perfect knothole matchbooked to form a heart, is the cherry/lid on top!
